Established in 2000 this suburban restaurant has created a name amongst the Indian food lovers. Devaiah and Kusuma Kannanda are the owners and operators and along with their friendly staff, continue to please the palattes of all who dine there.

Gouranga Adhikari is the curry chef who is a recent addition to the Jewel Of India team. Chef Adhikari is also very experienced in catering for functions and cooking desi Chinese.

Devaiah, having completed studies at the Institute of Hotel Management in Mumbai, joined the Taj Mahal hotels as a trainee chef. Once migrated to Australia has worked in various establishments until opening his own restaurant at Enoggera.

With this background, no aspect of Culinary expertise is compromised and the team believes that only the best will satisfy the customer.

Jewel Of India offers an extensive a la carte menu with entrees starting from $6.95, and mains from $16.45. It also offers 100% Halal meats. All You Can Eat Buffet is also very popular every night for only $23.95.
